I want someone to wake up and help me.

I was a premium member and payment was extracted from my bank via my debit card for several months without a problem. In July, payment was refused. My bank said it was because although Chess.com had my card details correct and there was sufficient funds in the account, they refused payment because Chess.com called my card a credit card instead of a debit card!! Chess.com have cancelled my premium membership because of this, but have advised me to reapply for Premium membership. When I reapply a big red panel appears telling me my card has been refused!! I have begged Chess.com to sort this out but nothing is happening. I want this block on my card removed by Chess.com. It has not been blocked by my bank. Anyone else had this problem??

Just sit tight... chess.com's staff is helpful, and they will resolve your problem ASAP. Remember, they don't get their money until you get your premium membership back

Thanks Cry_Wolf but it does not quite work like that. Matt (Patzer24) has done all that he can within the confines of an archaic bill processing system. Matt even deleted my card and I reapplied by feeding in my card details again. But this ridiculous IT system remembers that it has blocked my card for non payment and will not let me reapply. I find it incredible that a site that can operate without the good will of people willing to pay a bit more for additional facilities, acts as though it is our privelege to pay the extra. It is incomprehensible that one non payment for whatever reason (and in this case it was a Chess.com failure!) can blow your card out forever. You are then invited to pay by another method! Well no thanks Chess.com - I won't play that silly game. I'm out of here - contact me if you sort your billing system out.
