What happens if you don't claim the win and your opponent never comes back? Can you simply invalidate or wipe out the game in some way or do you eventually have to accept the win?
If I play a 2600 rated player and he times out on me I don't want that to be recorded as my best win and I certainly don't think I should be awarded the rating points.
if my opponent disappears in a lost position (forced mate in 1 move) in igoogle chess, will i get my rating improved after opponent's time runs out? my settings do have "claim victory" if time runs out. my opponent made around 25 moves before disappearing.
