Hello, I am Nine (pronounced Nin-y) and 12 years old. I would really like to improve at chess, but have little time to work on my chess skills. Does anybody have some tips for me to improve my chess skills.

I've read some articles and got some tips, but I don't think it will work with my busy schedule, if anybody else wanted tips:

1. Learning

2. Planning

3. Tactics

4. Reviewing of games

Enjoy the puzzle & I'm open for advise!!!

Don't play blitz chess, try to  play standard chess . 15 10 is a good time . Try to think  1 move and a half ahead ( your move , opponents , move , your answer ) .

On the opening stage try to realyzes these 4 simple goals :

1)Develop your pieces ( Knight before bishop)

2)Control (or occupy) the center

3) Castle

4) Connect the rooks (Move ur queen on the 7th or 6th rank if u are white ).

When the middlegame begins try to realize a plan , look for opponents undefended pieces or weaknesses on his pawn structure . Always remember that weak pawns like backwards pawn , isolated pawn , pawn island are good object for an attack .

Place your knight on a central sqaure where he cant be pushed away by pawns . Place your bishop on open diagonals . Place pawns on the opposite color of your bishop .

Place Rooks on on open files ,and move Queen and Rooks only after kight and bishop

Always ask yourself this important question during a game : How can i move my pieces forward to attack my opponent ?
