In-Game Messaging & Messages Issues

Anyone else having issues with messages in-game and direct messages?

I'm getting notifications about messages (seeing the intro even), but when they're opened it's not there.  Also, my messages don't seem to be sent.

In-game messaging is glitching too.  Recently, I've had a problem with the red highlighted asetrisk not show-up while playing games in 'focus mode' about in-game messages.  Then, today, I've been getting notifications of messages in the in-game chat, but they're not uploading.

Bummer.  It must be a sitewide bug (or it's Mr. J's henchmen). 

How are you accessing the site? I'm not aware of any site wide issues 

I thought there was an issue but it turns out that the 5 members I sent PMs to all were muted. In this case, you do not get an error message but the message it not visible in yours or the recipient inbox until the mute is lifted.

Thanks Martin for checking the mute status of these members and confirming that this is the expected behavior and not a glitch.

Web-based site and the app......So, then, maybe it's just my acct having problems?
Not sure if this is related, but often chesscom friends have trouble sending me challenges.  They'll get error messages stating that I'm offline (even when I'm online).

I had the same problem a while ago. Turns out some messages just didn’t go through, even though they looked sent. I switched to text messaging through SMS.To for time-sensitive stuff, especially during fast games, because the in-game chat can be a bit buggy sometimes.
