Do you happen to notice it happens when video ads play?

KingHun

Ironically, I had no moving videos in either game I just played. I managed to get through the first game, but lost the second when I ended up timing out while my opponent had most of their time still on clock.
I don't seem to be having any issues with words with friends or other websites

I too, have had the same problem recently.  I am losing more games especially during speed chess.  I have to close the window, and open it up again!  Any suggestions?

Thanks!

What browsers are you using and what version of said browser? Are they up to date?

FoolOnDeck

Same thing for me. Macbook, with either safari or firefox... brand new problem (longtime user) where mouse gets supper sluggish as the game goes on. Sometimes a message that browser rebooted because program is using too much memory.  tried clearing caches, reboots... all the usual good stuff...

jdcannon

Thanks for reporting. I am checking on some things! Hopefully a solution soon.

I noticed today when I tried again before I timed out, I would get a notice in my bottom left

waiting for lquad.com

waiting for  ???????advertising???,com  most frequent
waiting for secure connection popped up once
i have an empty adbox on the upper right side of my screen
I have th e latest version of chrome

FoolOnDeck

I put a memory checker in my toolbar. Memory usage goes up during the first game until the mouse barely works. If I do get to a second game it continues upward from there... then "This webpage was reloaded because it was using significant memory." All other stuff works fine...

jdcannon

Can you take screenshots of that data?

i have had so many problems with your site.. Can't even move the pieces at times.. have to abandon many games because the site continuosly gets frozen... What's happening to your site...Lots of lag..Even the time freezes... You write in and the try to tell you to do things with Chrome  which don't work.. Then they tell you to upgrade.. Yeah! How do I know it wont lag and lose my games then? Really... . What a joke.. Never works..  Come on.. get your act together..

Damn, I tried Windows explorer for the first time earlier and it worked for a few games.
However I just lost a game I was winning when Explorer jammed up  sad.png

It is the free version that's the problem. If you go to the paid version it works just like it always did before. Funny thing. So, jdcannon, Nevermind.

ive seen something similar esp in online not live chess in the past , what i did to get round it was log out of cc clear my browser history (save passwords) change browser firefox to chrome or vice versa , log back in (saved password) then if needed go ctrl f5 (hard refresh) this doesnt work in live as the hard refresh means you disconnect from live , but it worked in 3 day chess

now im unsure if this helps your issue but it is harm free so maybe worth a try
