The fact I still run out of time at 5-2, despite moving instantly ... really makes the experience inferior to ICC ... ICC's 2-12 time control is infinitely superior ... and their interface doesn't freeze up when you click source and object squares at critical moments the way your interface does. Your system is pkay for some fun and a few laughs ... but having played on such a superior system ... the problems have eroded my enthusiasm.
A couple suggestions: (1) Institute a 2-12 time control ... than the game doesn't turn into a mindless race at the end (2) Fix the interface ... your programmers must know about the bugs. Hard to believe you've allowed them to exist when you have such a popular well-monetized site. How about a little "pride of ownership" and turning a decent system with some serious flaws into a real quality product ?
yea as the member who replied to you, you can create custom time controls. as a member of ICC i can see where you are coming from, but chess.com answers all of those questions that you mentioned.
