I'm having the same problem on my laptop. The board is not loading under any browser.
Invisible Pieces on Mobile Internet

I got the same problem.
All pieces are invisible on my Windows 7 phone and when using my laptop to connect via my phone. But everything is okay on my laptop through my home wifi.

Still no joy with this.
I managed to get the pieces showing briefly by mucking about with the board colours and piece sets. But now I'm back to missing pieces again.

Is this just happening with wifi on the laptops?
How strong is the signal?
Are pieces missing in turn based games aswell or just live chess?

Thanks for replying, Kohai.
The problem only happens when my phone is involved, either using it to log onto chess.com directly, or logging on from my laptop while using the phone as a router. There are no missing pieces when I use the same laptop with home wifi or a public wifi, even if the signal is weak.
Here's an odd thing though: When the pieces are invisible, if I use the Ready Game buttons (just below the facebook and twitter buttons) to move to another game, the pieces appear in the game I move to. If I only have one game with a move waiting, I have to go to a different game first, and then click the Ready Game buttons to get back the one with a move waiting.
It’s only a workaround, but at least I can now play via the phone after a fashion. Any help would be appreciated though.
Hi Guys,
I am using a mobile internet dongle and my chess pieces are invisible. I am on a Mac and used to get round the issue by using a Firefox extension called 'Modify Headers'. Does anyone know if a similar extension exists for Safari or if there is any other way I canget round this issue.
Thanks in advance,
John.
