Iphone app badge problem

I mainly play via my pc but also use the iphone app for times when I want to play but am not at my desk. I have noticed that the badge changes to a 1 when its my move but if I make the move on my pc the badge doesnt clear it and remains at 1. Due to this I never actually know whether there is something for me or not. If I open the app and see that it is not my move and then close the app the badge returns to its normal state.
Not sure if this is being looked at already or not but thought I should bring it to your attention.
