Is stalling in a one-Knight Mate in 1 considered a Fair Play violation?

There’s a loophole in the Chess.com rules, making it so that if you are about to be checkmated in one move by a Knight and King, you can save a draw by running out of time. Is stalling in this position bad sportsmanship, or is it a valid idea?

Example Position:

If Black plays h2 (which is forced), they will get checkmated with Nf2#. However, because White only has a Knight, they technically have insufficient material, so Black could stall the game and let their clock run out, drawing the game by Timeout vs. Insufficient Material.

Yes its against the rules, and its ethically wrong. But if those magical online rating points are that important then keep doing it.

It is bad sportmanship and also unfair play, I do not recommend doing it if you want to keep your account….
