Is there a shortcut for the game explorer?

I'd like to be able to explore positions more in the game explorer, but I'd like to be able to return to a specific page immediately after navigating away, or even refreshing. In each instance, I have to completely replay the game to get the position.

I'm not necessarily talking about named openings, but perhaps a position I just found interesting or something.

No, unfortunately at this time it is not possible to return to a specific search position after you have navigated away. But this is a good feature suggestion to be able to save a search position which you will reference often so that you do not have to play the moves out each time.

You guys could absolutely capitalize off that by allowing tiered saving limits :).

P.S. The excellent and timely responses of the staff to customer questions is one of the reasons I returned to this site after I got a good enough job to afford a membership. Thanks to all involved :).

I would recommend just opening up the game explorer in a seperate window. I do it all the time.

Naturally I keep it open in a seperate window, but if the window refreshes or something, everything is lost. this is especially frustrating, for example, if a laptop battery dies.

There's a box under the list of moves "link to page", you can copy and store it in your favorites, or some such. Long-winded way of doing things though...
