I'm playing someone in a tournament with a very low rating. I got curious after our game stayed close. I looked at his profile 0-40, or so, and then I looked at the games, all resignations in even positions from what I saw. So, it seems fairly obvious this person created a membership and then artificially bottomed out their rating and got into low rating tournaments. I don't like this sort of dishonest shenanigans that distort the rating system (which I really like as it lets me pair up with even opponents).
