Is Threefold repetition not working

@Rsava::In OTBs ,if before playing that move, arbiter didn't accept, then after making that move, if that's 3 fold rep. arbiter hv to accept.in here,i offered draw bt since the game is still on ,made the move hoping to claim draw . bt no "claim draw/offer draw" is there...if there is,then should i not claimed that.

This isn't all that complicated.  I'm sure chess.com could figure out a relatively intuitive interface.  The alternative is leaving a not-insignificant problem in place, especially when conditional moves or pre-moves are at play.

Yes, I can see the issue if your opponent uses conditional moves to prevent the claim.

Yep, once I "cheated" like that when I realised it's actually winning for me.

Whatever. Have fun.

Grove is right in 14 it's a flawed system and the issue has been raised multiple times.

Even something as simple as giving a 5 minute grace period in which the draw could be claimed, regardless of whether your opponent already moved or not, could work.

Yes ,  you should have claimed the draw after Qe2 not before Qe2, when you made the offer, that is merely an offer to your opponent, not a claim to a drawn position due to repetition 3x, that was the same when you offer a draw after Bb1 since the position was not the same. The repetition rule still works.

Does it work the same way in live chess?

@ydlaz::::yeah right i made the draw offer before Qe2 repeated 3rd tym..bt after i made that move no "offer draw/claim draw" button was there.if there was ,then should i not have taken the draw then...that's y am asking, that since i offered draw before that move, whether that is the reason or not that there is no "draw offer/claim offer" button after i made that move

Here: http://www.chess.com/livechess/game?id=985115211 I offered a draw they declined, we repeated 100 times and I lost on time....
