king took queen?

i was having a game ,and i was in check.i got out of checkby takng his queen with my king.a legal move the sign came up and said check mate .

but it let me take his queen to get out of it?????.

it happenned to me one time before, i dont know why, but ithink it was a program error

If this is about your live chess game with rayrayaac -- the queen is covered by the knight, so the king can't take it. It's checkmate.

Sorry Guys, but I am a mere novice. I have a question I hope you guys can answer. I was playing against the computer here on Chess.com and I noticed that the computer's king could take my queen, but my King couldn't take the computers queen. Why? Thanks in advance for your response!
