I am a paying member and this regularly happens to me — works fine for a long time then suddenly I get cut off, game freezes, connection indicator starts flashing ... but it isn’t my connection, every other app is fine, 4G! HELLO SUPPORT ANY ANSWER? Check my “abandoned” games if you want data (I never abandon games).
I lose connection even my internet connection is OK.

Yeah, had that issue.. i suddenly get logged off from the Internet. Thats why i play less live games.
I came to this forum thinking I would find an answer. Just love how all I found were other users replying that they too have the same issue.
I don't think we need to see that you also have the same issue. No solution is found by having us read chains ans chains of "dito", "me too" etc.
Is there a solution?

Same problem here. While a paid member, I expected for any answer like "sorry guys, we're working on it" as a minimal sign of respect.

Even if we're all being dumb and somehow the issue is with us, Chess.com should still provide an explanation. I wonder how much money they're raking in from people for whom they have no respect?
I lost so many games cause of this... I have Lichess app also and it is super super fast...No issues...
what is the point? live game freezes ,stutters. even had game abandonned win for my opponent when it was my move. joke! you end up concentrating on beating the freeze/stutter rather than playing the game.

Connection issues here too. Ready to stop paying for the service. Left a bad review in the App Store. Don’t know how else to get anyone’s attention. Sick and tired of paying money to lose games.
I suggest those of you with issues also leave appropriate reviews. Maybe they’ll start to do something about it.

I connect with a MacBook Pro. The reason I lost connection was due to the site seeing multiple logins even though I logged in only once. I tried everything I could think of to fix this, including periodically clearing the cookies, something worked. Although the site still sees multiple logins, this no longer causes the site to crash. It seems like a simple problem that should be fixable.

I only play through my phone app so I’m not logged in elsewhere. This morning it worked fine. Comes and goes.

It is April 2020 and the problem persists, other chess websites work fine but this one doesn't.

I am having the same. Started in the middle of a game 5 mins ago. Internet connection is fine - working for other sites - but ios app will not let me play a live game. Just errors out claiming bad connection.
Yes, same with me, so we are lucky that it is not just our internet
To be honest, I think chess.com is simply a bad pltform for bullet. I have been playing from different places with different internet connections - and a rule of thumb is, that it is not wise to have an extremly fast connection, because then your opponent will benefit. I don't know they are doing it, but lichess is much better for bullet ...
