Live chess glitch

When in doubt, don't leave a game in progress under any circumstances, if you can possibly help it. If you do, you risk losing.
In a game of live chess, my opponent (rooks111) disconnected right before he ran out of time. Nothing happened for like a minute (even though his time had expired) , so I exited live chess and quickly returned. The screen said "New Game w/ Rooks111" and his timer was at zero. I then exited Live chess and when i checked the outcome it said i had lost by "game abandonment"
