Mabey chess.com isnt designed for live chess. Type on the internet fics (free internet chess server) and mabey that is what your looking for. i have fics and i for one know it is a pretty good site. Hope this helps, andyrulz!!! :-)

When you go to other people's houses, are you using their computers or are you using your own laptop?
Do you experience any other web connection problems from your home.
What web browser due you use?

I cant get on live chess any more from my computer. I have gotten on at other peoples houses, but when I try to get into live chess at my house my computers freezes up and I have to shut it down to get it going normal speed. I dont know whats happening, but I dont like it and if anyone could help me that would great.
