Are you sure the move you are attempting is legal? I dont mean to insult you, but I really can't think of anything else....

[edit] or maybe go to your settings and change to the option where your move is entered without te submit button?

Yea, it sounds stupid, but check that your move is legal like Rooperi said. You're under check at the moment...

Hmmm, he lost on time in a completely won position, wonder what happened there....

Possibly missed that the king was in check and tried an illegal move?

Thanks for your comments guys.  I feel foolish enough.  The check was on the bottom of the board and I didn't see.  I tried to move every piece but the king.

Everything was legal.  I have no hard feelings.

I am not a nube to chess, but don't know all the ins and outs of this system.  All my life there has been someone else on the other side of the board saying "check" out loud.

You can all have a laugh at my expense.
