There is a well-known effect in posting to the forums that ... if you click back through a topic in the middle of creating a post, everything that you have written gets thrown away.
The best workround is: when producing a complex post (or blog), create it in Microsoft Word first - then copy it in to chess.com when it is complete. That way, you have a backup copy.
