mouse cursor invisible over pieces suddenly

Hello,

I've encountered a problem today while playing on Chess.com using both Edge and Chrome browsers. Whenever I hover my mouse cursor over any chess piece during a match (this includes playing against the computer), the cursor disappears. This issue significantly hampers my ability to play fast-paced games like bullet or blitz, as it's difficult to see where I'm pointing.

Here's what I've tried so far:

  • Rebooting my computer
  • Checking and adjusting mouse cursor settings
  • Attempting to play on two different browsers (Edge and Chrome)

Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue.

I'm reaching out to see if anyone has experienced a similar problem or has any suggestions on how to fix this. Additional technical details:

Operating System: Windows 11
Browser versions: Edge: Version 122.0.2365.30   | Chrome: Version 121.0.6167.185

I have backed out the latest windows 11 upgrade and chess.com is working again now. Seems related to a windows upgrade.

It's a windows issue. Happened to me after the latest update. It's also happening on a few other applications as well.

It is I think an issue from Windows only, bcz I've also started facing it after the recent update.

It's fine on lichess.org, but here it is extremely annoying.

From what I've been seeing, it's an update on the client end that's causing the problem. Staff are aware and looking to see if there's a way to fix it from the site code side of things

Problem with Opera / Chrome and also with Brave.

According to the latest windows Dev Update There can be bugs appearing in some popular games, so no problem from the app
