Moxiecode Image Manager

Can anyone explain to me how to attach images to messages and/or work with the "Moxiecode Image Manager"?  I've managed to browse and pull out images from my hard drive and put them into a "Moxiecode" window, but that's as far as I've been able to get.  I don't have a clue as to what to do next--even after reading "Help".  I wish there was a demo--or alternatively, an exact step-by-step description of what you do!

This is one of those things where the answer is probably simple, but I just don't get it!  I've played around with it several times now, and still can't figure it out!  I'd have better luck against a 2200-rated player!

Once you have an image in Maxiecode window you are all set to insert it in your post. To do that - click the second icon on the tool bar in "Post Your reply" (the one to the right of the chess board icon. Once the window pops up click the "Browse" icon (to the right of the "Image URL" field. That will open the Maxiecode window. Click the image you want to insert in your post and the correct address gets inserted in the "Image URL" field. Then just click the "Insert" button at the bottom and the image should appear in your post area.

Thanks, Rich!  I had a feeling it was simple--but I just couldn't figure it out!  I still had a little bit of a problem putting in TWO images, but finally did after fumbling around a bit!  The thing that threw me was all the open, empty fields, unfamiliar prompts, and open windows--and trying to connect them all to make things work!

Can anyone explain how to add a picture to my account. I had a picture, but when I was unable to change it, I blocked the original one. Since then, II've not been able to revert to my previous picture nor add a new one. Any ideas how to unblock my original picture, or add a new one would be appreciated.

Could you explain what you mean by "blocking" the picture. I cannot find any option for that. Unless you mean the "who can see my picture" option under "Privacy Settings".  Also, what do you mean by saying that you are not able to add a new one - there is no browse button next to the image line in "Edit Your Profile", or nothing happens when you select the new image to add???

I, too, "ares1," was a little perplexed by "__zugswang's" vague, inexact, non-specific description of the problem.  But let me take a guess since I ran into a "browse and selection" problem myself that had to do with FILE NAMES AND EXTENSIONS.  Try this, "__zugswang":  make sure that there are no "special characters" in your file names (for example, no parentheses, question, or exclamation marks).  If there are, go back into your computer folders and "rename" them.  When you do, also make sure that there are NO SPACES in the file name.  Then make sure that you are working with compatible file extensions such as (.jpg) or (.png).

I may have experienced what I think "__zugswang" may have experienced (i.e., my work progress "blocked"), and I solved it by properly renaming the files I wanted to select and use.

Is this the problem, "__zugswang"?  If so, give the foregoing a try!
