My puzzle rating went from 3200 to 2000 overnight. Who can explain this 💀

Guys my puzzle rating went down more than a 1000 points. Who can explain this? Was it a glitch? I just woke up one morning to find myself with a 2000 puzzle rating. To make matters worse, when I tried solving more puzzles to get my rating back up I would only gain +4 points at most and when I would get a puzzle wrong my rating would drop -20 minimum. Sadly I’m also not the only person this has been happening to. A friend from my chess club also had his puzzle rating go from 4000 to 1000. This is so frustrating and I hope you guys haven’t dealt with anything similar.

All guys have dealt with exactly the same thing: the new puzzle rating system.
To get more balanced reward/penalty change the difficulty for puzzles

The only possible explanation: you haven't been on chess.com for more than a month.
