new account problem

I joined chess.com June 2nd, username SFCA2025, but never received a confirmation email. Trying a different email address did not help... on the account settings page, I got the message, "Something went wrong. Please try again." Contacting support also did not help. The AI assistant always ended the conversation saying someone would contact me within 1 to 3 days... they never did.

So I created a new account, this one, with a new email address. (I received and responded to a confirmation email immediately).

The problem is that I paid for a year of Diamond membership on the first account (SFCA2025). Please transfer my membership to this account, and close the first one... or refund the cost for the first one and I can resubscribe.

I recommend contacting support to transfer the membership. They are not likely to see your comment in the forums

I did exactly that, several times, beginning two weeks ago, requesting either a refund or a merging of the two accounts, and was told they would contact me by email within 1 to 3 days... they didn't.
