This might be chess.com's problem, they still haven't fixed the blog link under the home icon for several wks now. In the meantime you can try using another browser, clearing your cache etc as outlined in my link above.
I'm getting something very similar from a Td when he posts messages to the tournament homepage. I used to get the messages, but since I have been eliminated, clicking on the alert doesn't do anything. I'm also not allowed to post comments on the tourney page, and, no, the Td has not blocked me.
Whenever I get a new alert, from friends or anyone: clicking them will bring me to my homepage. I can never read the messages. Very annoying.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Same problem here. Chess.com is full of bugs like this one.
how do you send an Alert to someone with a message? I got them but don't know how to send them
I have played Nicholas nut and Bob881 for years. I want to continue playing them. I don't want to play either directorcogger (777) or Emzeeey (845). I don't know them and didn't ask to play for them. Sincerely, mark helbling
Been getting a few of these over the past days:
I get a notfication that there is a message from a member, when I clck on that get this:
Chess.com - New Alert
Friends Since 9/27/12
New Chess.com alert:
- You have a new message!
Click to view your alert!
(You will not receive any more alert emails until you have logged in to Chess.com)
When I click to view alert, get this:
You are already registered and logged in.
When I go to my messages, this alert is at the top, and it keeps taking me round in circles.
