New app (android) Rated puzzle mode

The new app works different compared to browser version and previous version of the app in rated puzzle solver. I don't get any point if I for example get 3/4 correct on the app and the last try is wrong, I loose points as if I didn't get any correct (in the history it also shows that I didn't get any correct). Then if I use hint feature, it registers partially solved problems as before. On web browser however I get partial points like it was before the app update. So this has to be some bug in the app.

Not all multiple move puzzles give points for getting some moves right.

Here is a recent one you completed where you did get points for a couple of correct moves (0133524).

Actually I tested the app and the web version at the same time to make sure, and those that got me partial points were all from browser version. I have done over last days quite many puzzles, and more the whole last month to notice this. The updated app registers points differently compared to previous app version. I do get partial solving points when I utilize hint in the app, but loose all the points when dont get all correct otherwise. I am quite confident that this is the problem in the app. There is probably tens or even hundred of problems I have not gotten partial points last 24 hours (I mainly use app for puzzles). So the app gives me NO partial points at all if I dont use hint first. If I solve 3 correct, and 4th wrong I get 0/4 on ALL of the puzzles I try. 

Please check the app!

You should only get points when using hints if you already got enough moves to get points if you just got it wrong instead.

I can't say for sure there isn't a bug, but in general, not all partial answers give points regardless if you are on the web or app. Some do, some don't.

You could always open a ticket to see if staff could verify that some of the ones you did in that app and got some moves right should have provided partial points.

Ok, thanks, I will open a ticket. I think all of partial solutions I have done on the app since the update give me 0 after the puzzle is done. When I ask for a hint at some point, it does save the partial progress.

I had some time to test and I got the first two moves right on one of the puzzles but the web version shows there were no correct moves. It does look like a bug, though I'm not sure I would have received any points for it.

Having problems on a MacBook Pro, where I solve the whole puzzle, correctly, and then see nothing for my effort.  Have opened a ticket to report a possible bug.

Of late, I'm noticing a lot of glitches in many of chess dot com's presentation of chess, and I figure it is a result of their software engineers trying to upgrade the software to provide a platform for all users on all kinds of formats.

Can't imagine how difficult it must be.
