No more bans for engine using?

I'm occasionally cheated by players who are using engines. In the past (1-2 years ago) I've been received message that cheater was banned and I gained my rating back.

Now I don't receive those messages, instead  I got

Chess.com stopped banning cheaters? I don't understand.

They are still banning cheaters. The monthly reports say that they are banning more than 60,000 accounts last month.

I don't know what the official explanation for the change in the message is.

Perhaps you can discuss it in the Cheating Forum club.
