no "accept" button in game invitation

They may have deleted the invitation before you accepted.
The game invitation no longer appears on my home page! Ah! Going from bad to worse! 
@Timotheus: I wish I had thought of that. I'll bet that's what happened.

loved, thats because it was a challenge "from" you, not "to" you
If it shows "My open Challenges" - they are ones you sent, it shows you by the game
View - Edit - Cancel. When you view it, there is only an option to cancel from within the game itself. (Image below - its a challenge you sent him)
If its from someone else, the title above will read "Challenges Received". Then the accept button will show withing the game.
I was invited to an online (correspondence) game, but when I look at the invitation, there is no button to click on and ACCEPT the invitation. I'd like to accept the invitation.
