Ummm, anybody out there?
non-maximized iGoogle gadget doesn't update and shows welcome page

If the igoogle gadget is maximized in igoogle, then it works fine and the moved state of games update as people move. However, when its just another gadget in the main page, it never updates and when I click on any of the links it brings me to the "Welcome to iGoogle Chess!" page asking me to set the share settings even though I've been playing for a while.
Only a refresh of the entire igoogle page fixes this.
Any way of fixing this?
PS. Merging the igoogle game db and the chess.com db and merging the users themselves (google user and chess.com user) would be awesome.
