This happens more than I care for. I was in a 10 minute tournament and it was my opponents turn but my time was running down. Here is a screen record of it. https://photos.app.goo.gl/UnERNz9BBWoUMfUk8

That is an iOS bug. They are working on a fix and hope to have it out in only a few days.

If you notice this you can try pressing back one move and doing your move again, helped me when I noticed it. (Sometimes i dont notice it and run out of time lol)

All in all I enjoy the app. There are a few things I would change but as a developer myself I understand bugs happen. Just hopefully it’s addressed soon.

Being a paid subscriber with this issue happening for two weeks, maybe every fifth game, is incredibly frustrating. Some opponents are kind enough to offer or accept a draw, but this is still so unfortunate.

Also had this issue several times. Must restart the app and it sucks in a game with just seconds left. I hope they fix this and all the other bugs. I would like to use the payed Diamond-membership as it was meant.

• What features isn’t available in the mobile app?
• Is there any statistics about how many mobile vs desktop users?

Using a iPhone 11 Pro Max.

The latest update is that the fix is in QA and they expect to submit a new version to Apple later today. (Apple usually takes a couple of days to approve new app versions.)

I’ve lost over 50 points today just by my clock running down when it’s not my move?

stoop commenting without context, its not in qa, its been in dev for months, they finished testing, its just the thing called launching and it takes a long time

duntcare

use the dam site, the app was just a small thing for the site

duntcare

the app gets like 1 update per year and its the last to recieve updates and only the most basic ones like new play feature

duntcare

if you dont want bugs dont use the thing that gets no updates

No, you are wrong.  The latest bugs became a problem about two weeks ago and they thought they had it worked out a week ago and put out a new version but other problems arose. They are now testing a solution that they plan to upload to Apple later today.

Version 3.9.16 (2) has been approved by Apple and it should be available soon if it isn't already - see clock stuck? - Chess Forums - Page 5 - Chess.com

Let us know there if you're still having problems after installing that version - thanks!
