Same problem, I would like to know also. I've gotten in once today.
It's back online now. But I lose point on Tactics training because it stay "logging in"

minor? i left the now logging in window open for 3 hours while doing HW and i didn't get in...i also left it on for 6 hours while i was in class this afternoon and i came home and was not logged in!
other people are having the same problem... minor? nah...
I have noticed that if you enter live beta and then log out, sometimes it is not possible to get back in using the same window - it just says "now logging in" and never does. If you close the window you have been using and open another, it usually works. Good luck.
Im guessing that this is realted to the network problems the site was having yestrday, which are now fixed. Are you still having this issue today?

sorry guys. livechess is in early beta, so it behaves just like advertised. it is a constant work in progress and there are still a lot of bugs to be resolved. it will get there.. just give it some time... and patience..

It worked for me, have you tried clearing your browser cache/cookies? Also, sometimes a computer reboot clears things up.

it doesn't seem like the "system" has been down all day, (when i click on "Members" there are people with the green antenna thing by their name) but I haven't been able to log in to the live chess beta for the past 12 hours? anyone know what's going on? it just says "Now loggin in. Please wait..." and it just stays there with the barber shop bars moving at the bottom. what's going on? i've tried clearing my cache and all that other stufff, but nothing. i still can't get in? i've tried it on firefox and IE and even on two different computers with different internet service providers. so...what gives?
