Most of the time, when I go select a new game and choose a rapid, it just sends me to an "Observing Game", and I make a move, and it says, "your guess is..." I want to play a rapid game, not guess, and I'm flummoxed; I've lost approximately 50 points within 5 mins cause I keep resigning/abandoning? When I haven't even started in the first place, I will send an image, but I have no idea how to. This usually happens when I'm at school when I play chess; otherwise, it'll send me to an actual rapid game.
You can watch games if you want. In live chess, you click on the binoculars icon. Many people like to watch grandmaster play. You can try to guess the moves.
None of it will affect your ratings.
