Pulpofeira sent to me this info and it does work.
Do note that you have to be in a blog and use Chrome as a browser.
First of all First the video needs to be online, so you can link to it. for instance Youtube (easiest).Can't do it from the harddisk!
Now you do things in this order.
- Download and install Google Chrome. You will need that, other browsers are no good for this.
- In Google Chrome open 3 tabs.
- In the first tab you hoover over your home button top right (within chess.com), and click on blog.
- Now you click on Create A Blog Post.
- After that you go to your second tab and look for your video on Youtube. You click share and you will see a link appearing like this one... http://youtu.be/nSq7KMObQnk ... (That was the Wolf Blitzer link).
- Select that link with your left mousebutton. Click on it with your right mouse button and click copy.
- Now go back to the first tab, leftclick on the little youtube icon (3rd from the left, top row). You will get a pop-up. Rightclick and paste your link. Press ok. Now you will see your videoappearing.
- Press ctrl-a to select, then ctrl-c to copy.
- Now go the third tab and open the thread where you want to post and click in the space where you want to post the video.
- Now press ctrl-v to paste your video.
- Voila, you're done. If you want you can also put some accompanying text above or underneath it. It is not possible to change the dimensions of the video.
Also works is :
Click the Share link under the video.
Click the Embed link.
Go to submit new blog post not a forum.
Click on youtube icon and paste code in pop up window.
Copy the code provided in the expanded box in the embed section.
Paste the code into your blog
Place mouse at bottom right corner of image. Left click your mouse and drag diagonally to upper left corner to highlight video. There is no image only a code that I posted as I could not find the youtube icon, where is it?
Place the mouse over the highlighted video and press keys control (CTRL) hold it down and press C key on the keyboard.
