Yes, this is intentional. It appears that your Facebook Chess account was merged to your Chess.com account. All members who have a Facebook Chess account are given the option to merge their accounts on Chess.com.
Old and new accounts merged

I recently closed my old account and created a new one, and after a few minutes of playing on my new account...I noticed that my games from my old account had showed up on the new one, along with my rating, past games, etc.
I'm not complaining, I don't mind at all. I'm just curious if this was done intentionally, or if it's a glitch (I registered with the same email address if that makes a difference).
