Only Unrated Open Challenges

I get only unrated open challenges; no rated games appear. Punishment for my low rating? Something I haven’t calibrated in Settings?

There is a recent bug with the iOS app where all the daily open challenges are incorrectly marked as unrated. If you look at the challenges with a web browser, they show as rated.

seems like this has been the modus operandi for a couple weeks, is there a setting that only allows unrated games to appear.  if yes, it's hard to find.
