Open challenge to Club Members only

Hi,

Is there a way to create an open challenge visible to members of a specific club only?

I don't seem to find an option for this, but it seems like a feature that should exist..

The workarounds I guess are to create a challenge link and post it in the club forum/chat or create a 2 player tournament. Are these the only options or am I missing something?

If you're talking about a Daily tourney, just make it invite only and on the invite option, choose the club members.

That's not really what I'm looking for, that's just a workaround that could be possible.

Ideally I want to create a game (single game, not tournament) which is joinable by one of the club members. So just like an open challenge, but instead of it being visible to all people on the platform, make it visible to club members only.

You go to Play > Custom Game, set all your parameters, then click Random. On the page/tab that loads, click Challenge Link. I think that will do what you want. Just copy and post it in your forum, but you'll probably only want to do that if it's private.

I do not know if more than one person will be able to use the link to challenge you or not.

I'm going to try to explain this in another way since maybe I'm not getting across what it is exactly that I'm looking for. Imagine how you can currently challenge a friend, but instead you can challenge one of your clubs and the first person from that club that responds to the challenge gets to play you.

Anyway, I looked around some more and still couldn't find that specific feature so I assume it's just not possible at the moment thus we will resort to posting challenge links on the club forum.

That isn't possible, that's why I suggested the challenge link.

The trouble with this is the link only lasts 15 minutes. I know this is an old post but i was just looking  for same thing

In the member list of a club some members appear with a green button for being challenged. Does anyone know how to make this button appears ? I didn't find the way. Thanks.

I believe it only shows when the member is online.

So, are you saying that this is not a specific feature of being a member of a club that you can configure/activate inside the club options ? But it only depends on the general settings of the chess user ?
