I think it's about time I bring this up. I do tactics a lot here on chess.com and sometimes, not always but sometimes I would get these puzzles that have more than 1 answer. However, chess.com only marks 1 answer correct. This makes no sense to me, and in my opinion chess.com should add an "alternate move" thingy in these puzzles with more than 1 answer. Or if its too complicated, just remove the puzzle. It doesn't help if there are multiple answers and only 1 is marked correct.

Take this puzzle for example: https://www.chess.com/puzzles/problem/1209272 after 47. a6, black can play Kc8 or Kc6. Both work. I not only checked with chess.com engine, I checked it with l*****s engine, and a fritz engine. All 3 say both lines work. The chess.com engine slightly prefers Kc6 for i don't know what reason, however the other engines say both are good. This isn't the only one, there are quite some other puzzles that have this. I currently don't have the link to them. But there was one puzzle I clearly remember where almost every single move wins (besides giving away rook or stalemate. It was King+rook+knight vs King endgame). Clearly winning and chess.com only said 1 move was correct. There are dozens of other moves that are correct.

I'm just wondering, could this be fixed? Like for example, chessable has an "alternate move" option where an alternate move isn't marked wrong. I think that chess.com puzzles should really implement this feature. Thats all.

There was. Like it said try again if it was an alternative, but I think they removed it.

The system was never designed for multiple answers and likely would require a rewrite to accommodate it. That said, puzzles should only have one best answer, and if there is more than one,  such as two moves giving mate, they should be reported.

Regarding the linked puzzle, it's very likely the system used to pull in some tactics automatically, doesn't go deep enough on analysis. Up to depth 20, Kc6 is the only move. It takes more depth to see Kc8 is equal.
