Umm,
For the record, part of the marketting materials when I was making a buying decision stated that the connection to the site IS faster when you pay for a premium membership, that and a lack of ads.
I don't want to get...weird, I'm just saying it did say that or maybe I am wrong, I definitely could be.
As for Erik's responses, I think they're funny as all get out but I work for a small web company and I reign in my CEO when he wants to send a nasty email to an ex member or something like that...It doesn't affect MY view of the site which is top notch but I can imagine the tone having a negative effect in the future.
That being said, the guy didn't respond well to the true attempt at customer support and I'm totally down with a culture that berates the guy for that.
