Platinum Auto Renewal problem

My platinum membership auto-renewed and my account was charged 79.99 on 4/13/24. Only problem is it doesn’t work.

None of the premium features are available and it shows me as a basic member. I’ve tried resetting the app with no luck and have heard nothing back from customer support.

I enjoy the puzzles so that sucks plus I feel like the customer support in this type of scenario could be better. I enjoy chess.com but it’s not a cheap app.

Generally that mean there was a problem charging the payment method. You can use the Help menu to contact support about it and they should be able to tell you what happened.

Staff have fixed this and said it's due to the membership being tied to your previous account through the Apple store

That explains how to cancel the automatic renewal tied to that other account.
