Is it possible to play without Java?

I wish to play via EvE Onlines ingame browser which doesn't support Java.  Works fine with chess.com's facebook app though.

The only part of the site that uses Java is the Play against the computer feature. Most of the rest uses JavaScript (NOT the same as Java). And, there is no way to get around using JavaScript.

Ah that's fine then, I only want to play against people anyway, just used play against computer to test it.

I need Java to play, at least two cups if not more.
