I think he wants to know how to add people as friends. And that perhaps he thinks kco is kohai?

To add people as friends, you go to their profile by clicking on their name. Then, on the right side of the screen under Actions you click on Add to My Friends List. Then you send the friend request, and once they accept, they will be on your friends list.

To get to your friends list, you go to My Home, then click on Friends.
