I realize you guys are doing the best you can and you cannot police everything and make everyone happy. In relation to keeping politics out of the site I would propose this rule: No one is allowed to use a political figure, or that person's name, in their avatar. There's only one person that I'm talking about here and I'm not going to name names. You'll figure it out. I have to hear about this guy every day, anyway, and it's already irritating. Then I get on here and there's his face, picture, name and everything. His viewpoints even match the original Icehole. It doesn't make me feel comfortable on here and doesn't make me want to get on the forums. I am as tolerant and PC as I can be, but I really wish you would consider making this rule. If someone had tried to use Putin you would have stomped on it in a second. Thank you, and thank you for all your hard work and a wonderful site.

The usage of an avatar of a political figure is nothing more than an instigators trick to get people riled up, which is what we are trying to avoid.

I also realize that drawing a line between a political figure and an historical figure is difficult. I wouldn't mind using Genghis Khan, perhaps, the most ruthless conquerer ever. Do I espouse his ideals? No. I admire him because he conquered the largest contiguous land Empire ever on fermented mare's milk with a slight vodka kick, kumis. He's only second to Britain. It is getting more and more difficult to draw lines in this pc world. If I was Solomon, I think I would say that we couldn't use political historical figures either.

I am getting a lesson on International diplomacy on here. You guys may have created something that you don't realize how powerful it could become. Maybe the greatest social media site on the planet. That's what the Internet was originally meant to do, bring us together without any wrangling and share knowledge. For all I know there are people out there who are offended at the mention of Genghis Khan.

What a sad individual. I can only feel sorry for you. I'm laughing myself silly over the rise of authoritarianism throughout the entire world, except Europe and the US, and Fascism is on the rise here in the guise of Patriotism. That's even funnier.
