It is possible you got disconnected. You can try a few things. Make sure you have the newest version of your browser, clear your cache, and disable Flash for the site.

  • I had £18.47 available credit so I decided to switch to diamond £12 a month for free for this month leaving £6.47. All good, happy days.

    I log on later that day and I am being asked to 'renew' membership again. I do and it says 'error 500'.

    And now I have lost my year long platinum membership. 

    Any ideas?

    I have sent 3 emails. So far I've only had one generic reply saying we'll
    look into it and that's it. The customer service is very poor. Especially
    when you consider all I want to do is pay them more.

I have recieved an email from one of the chess.com staff saying he has given me diamond membership until december which I was pleased about.

Unfortunately, no memebership is showing on my account. And when I try and pay manually it still says 'error 500'.

Terrible customer service continues. Getting no reply to emails! I paid for diamond membership and things were good until games began to freeze. Then periods where I couldn’t login and the message was to contact customer services. That’s when things went wrong as they don’t respond promptly. After weeks of being locked out and several months of wasted  I was told I’d get a full refund. Well they only refunded the cost of standard membership so I am shortchanged by £49. No reply to any emails since. Have written to complain and am still waiting for a response from you chess.com
