Premium account ad absence is misleading

On the page where I'm shelling out $100 for the diamond membership it says "All Premium Plans Include: NO Ads, Opening Explorer, ChessTV, Drills, Club Management, and Time-out Protection for Daily Games"

Then after I login on the chess.com page with my new fancy premium membership the first thing I see is a huge banner ad.  Upon searching the Help files:

I am a premium member! Why am I seeing ads?
Please note that all members will occasionally see relevant (chess-related) advertising on the Chess.com main page.

Just FYI,  "NO ads" does not equal "will see advertising on the Chess.com main page."   "NO ads" means "no ads, period."  Disappointing

This? null

/ That's not an ad. That's an announcement. And whatever it is, it only appears on the home page.

/ You must be the only person in the world who would complain about getting the chance to study with one of the world's leading chess coaches for free

1.  The example in your post is an ad, or advertisement.  Look up the definition of the word if you don't believe me.

2.  Before this banner it was a different one advertising Garry Kasparov's $99 chess class in the Fall.

3.  I'm not debating or raising an issue on the merits of any given ad that shows up.  That's not the point of my post.  The point is that the language of what I was paying for vs. what I received do not match.

Like I said, you are the only person in the world who would make an issue of this. Feel free to start a lawsuit.

/ If you don't like ads, just wait until you use the Live TV stream,

Right. I'm the only person, which is why the question in my original post is ranked #1 when the word 'ad' is searched upon in the Help section.  I don't even know why you've spent time to come into this thread and spread your vitriol.  If you like the ads, more power to you.  If you want to make assertions on what I should appreciate or not without helping at all, more power to you if it makes you feel great.  My goal in the Help forum was to raise a clear discrepancy between the description of a service offered and the service that is actually delivered. Nothing more.  Nothing less.  A simple wording change would suffice to let those like me who frequently use small devices with small screens that the ads on the main page would in fact not disappear. Scrolling or accidentally touch-clicking on the ad gets old over time.
