Social_Climber is in the Navy, and you have an 18 yr charge card. RIGHT!
BTW, I'm not a real drummer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night.

RJC, time to pull your head in. Urslove, you can block specific people from your threads, so please do so to RJC if you've had enough of his posts.
Urslove is using a debit card, not a credit card - although it goes through the credit card system, he can only spend as much money as he actually has in his account. I am therefore not surprised that it has a much long expiry date than a traditional credit card.
Although extending the year range sounds simple, this sort of task very rarely is. Urslove, did you get a ticket number for your initial enquiry, as shown in the screenshot RJC included in post #22? You can use that to follow up with the chess.com Support desk and ask what the status of that ticket is.

? It's not a question of one's rating. Urslove has explained pretty clearly what his problem is - his debit card has an expiry date with a year greater than the entry box for that allows. As it is, he has to either use another payment method, or wait until chess.com extends the latest year that can be chosen for that field.
Caedrel; couldn't he just use the highest experation date that chess.com has? If pay-pal confirms there's money behind it, who cares about a 1 yr typo, since its Sooo far off. (almost like the issue of country flags on this site. not every flag is offered)

I'm not that close to it myself, but I'm pretty sure there's some sort of verification from the bank as to whether the details are accurate, and that they'd reject it if the year was incorrect.
