Same problem here. It just started happening today.
Problem with Firefox 65.0.2 ?
Still happening for me . Tab will be working fine for an indeterminate time then crash for no apparent reason sometimes in the middle of the game . Using Firefox 74 . I see this thread is over a year old which I didn't realize at first . First noticed the problem sometime in early march 2020 . Also crashed on the prior version of Firefox . LOL - just crashed again as I wrote this post
Apparently the "developers" on Chess.com are only interested in Chrome. As not only Firefox has issues with the site but also Pale Moon, which is a Firefox clone with less baggage. Another reason my chess site of choice is Lichess.org.

I use Firefox when on my laptop almost exclusively. Site works fine.
I haven't seen any problems with Firefox 75.0. If you're using Noscript or something similar you also need to allow chesscomfiles.com.
E.G. when I try to draw or resign I have to hit the button(s) multiple times to get it to draw or resign (other buttons as well) ...and not just to confirm but just to make it work. This thread was started by another problem with FF but I haven't seen much in the way of Chrome (THE BROWSER I HATE) being complained about. How is it an underfunded (FREE FOR EVERYTHING) ([another site -- VP]) chess site is outperforming this pay site (pay for anything other than basic chess. (zero extras)? By outperforming I am including ease of use with multiple browsers....I've used 3 different browsers there with zero issues. Just reporting facts.
I will go ahead and send email to support calling attention to this discussion.
