I about freaked. I would think if it was an intentional recalibration there would have been some announcement

Me too! Dropped from 2500 to 1500! It's jumping up and down a few times to. I'll send a screenshot if support want it. (I'm from Sweden by the way).

Puzzles had their own skill rating, similar to variants, where the values don't translate directly. A rating recalibration wouldn't make sense in my eyes because of that.

Did some research and looked at that news, and all the top puzzle ratings are still over 10,000, which is still overinflated.

Switch your difficulty to extra hard if you want it to be more like it used to.
I'm super confused right now, but I was doing puzzles, and was at a rating of 3500-ish. when I checked my rating, and it had dropped to 1900. Is there a reason I lost 1600 puzzle rating?
