random person messaging and blocking me?

@Quang_NND randomly messaged me “who is this” and blocked me after I asked what? Anyone know this person?

I’m guessing Quang is Vietnamese and male, judging by his name and flag.

Hope that helps narrow down the profile.

There's a horde of people on chess.com who are crazy and hilarious at the same time..

I guess @Quang_NND loves to play the fool and is one of them.

Just ignore those kind of people and block them.

Did you challenge him or play with him? Or send a friend request after a completed game?

A couple of times, someone behaved a bit similarly because they thought I was someone they knew in disguise. Apparently just because I sent them challenge or picked them from the random list of players offered. Lots of users don't know the features of Chess.com and therefore make weird assumptions.

This is just based on his wondering of "how did you find him", which indicates he thought you had somehow approached him. He's from an authoritarian country, so he may be inclined to being paranoid about strangers.

Another explanation would be that he mixes you up with someone else.
