When a puzzle is newer, it may not have a rating (or at least not a stabilized one). I think chess.com uses these to test who solves it correctly or not and then assigns a rating later. If you get these correct, then I think you get the usual rating, but if you get it wrong, then they still give you +1 point.
That’s what I think, but I might be wrong on some details of it. I don’t solve puzzles that often.

One thing thats pretty fun to see, is that the rating still changes fairly easily. My guess is within these 2 new atttempts, one passed and one failed, but that way the solve rate went down and the rating went up
How can Rated Puzzles have no rating? So far, I've found six but there are two from today. Can anyone explain why this happens? BTW, the data is pulled from Profile's Stats > Puzzles and the *25-item Rated puzzle results list bottom of page.
ADDED: This list of puzzles is scrolling - only the last 25 Rated puzzles appears on this list (from what I can gather).
