Rating adjustment in Daily cHESS

Those games are very likely unrated games.
No they are not, its written in details that its a rated game

Nevermind. You only have one game going now and it is rated. If that one isn't showing an adjustment then you should just open a ticket. If it isn't that one the the next time it happens, open a ticket.

Thanks!
I just found out that in a rated game, rating adjustment is shown only when u have played at least 3 moves

Really? That's interesting. I know that rated games that end in less than a certain number of moves result in no rating adjustment for either player, so it would make sense for the adjustment to be shown only after the necessary number of moves has been reached.

It might be someting newer, or maybe on v3. In the past I know that wasn't the case; that is, the rating change always showed.

Yeah, now its changed.. You won't lose or win any point if the game ended in less than 3 moves..

I was talking about the rating adjustment not showing before that point; that may be a newer change.

Does anyone know why the rating adjustment shifts once a daily game has already started? For example, one of my opponents had around the same rating as me (c. 1700), but after he timed out a bunch of his games, his rating has now plummeted to 870ish. Thus, the game is saying that I will earn 0 points if I win but lose 40-50 should I lose. Surely, this is problematic and my rating should not be affected thus as a result of timing out so many games (since this player's invisible rating is likely much higher).
How does one deal with this? Also, shouldn't one's rating adjustment be based on the player's ratings at the time the daily chess game started, rather than when it's finished?
Thanks to anyone who answers this (especially Chess.com moderators).

The rating change is based on the rating a the time of game completion. So as the player's ratings change through the course of a game, the amount of rating change will also change for that specific game. The amount is not set in stone until the moment of game completion.
The basic idea is that the most recent rating should be the most accurate measure of a player's skill and be used in rating calculations. In the overall scheme of things, an issue like you describe will balance out over the long run and have little impact on your overall rating.

Hmm, taking this into account, I might want to stall this draw of mine until my opponent has reached the rating they clearly deserve. 1300 playing better than most 1600s.
Yeah, its an open invitation for stalling some games and early resignation in others, even.
Such manipulation is against the rules of fair play, but why put temptation in people's way?
I'm playing one guy who had a rating of 1252 when the game started. He seemed stronger than that judging by the players I am up against in the 1300 Masters, but I ended up winning a tight game. By the time I won his rating was about, but just +6 for me.
Started the second game and his rating is back down to 1152. He's only played a handful of games so it is fluctuating wildly.
At 1152 and my current rating of about 1475 it is W +3 D -5 L-13
Still trying to get my head around it all.
