“Rating too low”

Is there a way to bypass this issue. I looked it up through help but the relevant help article directed my friend and me to settings that don’t seem to exist. I’m not even trying to play a rated game and I’m still getting the “rating too low” dialogue screen.

Need more information to help you.  Are you on a PC or one of the mobile apps?  Are you trying to play your friend Live or Daily?

If you are playing on the browser, say Live, you need to go Home>Settings>Live and then adjust your challenge numbers.

Hope that helps.  If you're on mobile, someone else will have to help you, but it's a similar setting.

Thanks for the reply.

I’m on the iPhone app and I’m trying to challenge a specific person. I suppose it’s considered “daily” since the clock is set to 1 day? I’m not selecting “daily” per say, I’m just creating a challenge and setting the move clock to 1 day.

Also, it’s saying my rating is too low to create the challenge even though it’s an unrated game.

I went through every setting in the app and can not find anywhere to edit what ratings are allowed to play me and since the person I’m trying to play also has an iPhone, I assume this is the case for them as well. I can adjust rating ranges if the challenge is open but not if I select the person I want to play.

Oh well.  Sorry I couldn't be more help, but at least this will kick it into the main forum.  Any iPhone users want to help out here?

I figured it out. Had to login on a computer.  Where can I recommend the computer settings be available on the apps to make it more user friendly?

I honestly don't know how often staff checks this, but it seems to be the place...
