Ratings on?

Just enquiring as to how one can turn on ratings?

What do you mean? are you talking about how it shows you are unrated?

Yes, that and my games are listed as unrated. I'm assuming one must tick a box or some such...

Your games are rated click on the Details tab

Start: 24 Dec 2011 | Time: 1 move per 1 day
White: nojoxon - 22 hours 58 minutes left
Black: wtgr - 1 day left
Rated

Once you finish some, unsure how many, rated games the "unrated" next to you name will become a number.

when you start a new game here:

http://www.chess.com/echess/create_game.html

It will say 

Start a new game...

with... [Chose "options I chose" from the dropdown menu]

Then below it will ask you whether you would like the game to be rated, unrated, or a takeback game.
